The Expertise Coordination Centre checks independence, appropriate expertise, scope and availability before a proposal. The expert remains independent in methods, observations and conclusions. A submitted enquiry is not an appointment or accepted assignment. A counter-report requires the existing report. A court-appointed investigation follows the court order and applicable procedure. Binding effect requires prior written agreement by the parties. ## Language Visitors can complete the full intake in English. Dutch field values used internally for routing do not change the English questions and confirmation. Personal applications and uploaded files are not public or part of this context.
